Computer-controlled ripening of goods guarantees the highest quality of bananas for the customer at any time of year.

 


Main principles of handling bananas:

  1. A banana is sensitive to mechanical damage. Fall of a cardboard box from a height of 30 cm can cause abrasion and subsequent browning of bananas.
  2. Bananas are stored at the temperature of 11 - 18 °C (optimum 14 °C), lower temperatures or draft may cause damage to the fruit.
  3. Bananas are stored in a closed plastic film (micro-climate), and when ripening the film is opened to ensure ventilation of the fruit.
  4. A box with bananas cannot be fixed with a protective film, natural ventilation must be ensured.
